OR-CAP contacted OSU about having Captioning for its major athletic activities and found OSU to be extremely cooperative.
The first activity to be captioned was in June at the the 2012 Graduation Ceremony at which Michelle Obama, the First Lady, was the featured speaker. Home football games are now captioned.
A request has also been made to install caption capability at the new track and field stadium since it is much less costly and simpler to install captions during construction and to install the display(s) where they are most visible than to retrofit them.
